Lettuce wraps are a great idea for a quick healthy lunch. This one has a bit of spice and a bit of a crunch with the water chestnuts.
The amount of wasabi will depend on your own personal taste. I used about a 1/2 tsp and that was enough to make my nose run a bit.
Real Food (if using homemade mayo and homemade hoisin sauce)
1 can tuna, drained
2 tbsp homemade mayo (recipe follows)
1 avocado (chopped)
1/2 218 ml (or 7 ounce) can water chestnuts (chopped)
Hoisin sauce (1/2 to 1 tsp)
Leaf Lettuce (I used romaine)
In small mixing bowl, mix tuna with mayo and then add wasabi to taste. Add chopped avocado and water chestnuts and spoon onto lettuce leaf. Add about a teaspoon of hoisin sauce, wrap it up and enjoy.
