We have these fairly regularly for breakfast… sometimes with a slice of wheat toast.
Dairy-Free, Gluten Free
Recipe (makes 2)
1 banana
2/3 cup frozen cherries
2/3 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup coconut milk
3 tbsp cocoa
1 tbsp maple syrup (or local honey)
10 ice cubes
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp flax seeds
Pour it all into a blender and blend until smooth!
Optional (replace coconut milk with plain yogurt)
